Some months ago I wrote about teachers being gate keepers to people who need to pass an English requirement in order to enter a university, get a degree, or be eligible for certain programs or scholarships. I explained how I was placed in a position where I was responsible for deciding who’d graduate or not from a university program. That was basically it and I hated it.
